A. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, written by men as they were moved on by the Holy Spirit, and that it is the sole authority for the Christian's faith and conduct. B. Virgin Birth: That the Lord Jesus Christ was miraculously conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin , without a man being involved. The original prophecy if the Virgin Birth was given in Isaiah 7:14, over seven hundred years before Jesus was born. That Joseph was Mary’s husband but that he "knew her not" only after the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 1:34-35, Matthew 1:24-25
C. We believe in the Trinity of God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. They are all equal divine perfection, and they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Matthew28:19, I John 5:7, II Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 3:13-17)
D. The Genesis account of creation, that it is to be taken literally, not figuratively; that man's creation was not a matter of evolution, rather man was created in God's own image.( Genesis 1:1 ; Exodus 20:11 ; Acts 4:24 ; Colossians 1:16-17 ; Hebrews 11:3 ;John 1:3; Revelation 10:6; Romans 1:20; Acts 17:23-26; Jeremiah 10:12)
E. Salvation can only be obtained through the acceptance of Jesus Christ, by the appointment of the Father, freely took on Himself our nature, yet without sin , honored the divine Law by His personal obedience, and by His death He made a full and vicarious atonement for our sins.(Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:24; John 3:16; Romans 3:25)
F. Eternal Security and Assurance of Believers: That all the redeemed are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever.(John 6:37-40; John 10:27-30; Romans8: 37-39; I Peter 1:5)
G. The Blessed Hope, which is the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for his redeemed people; and in His return to earth with the saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:1-6; Revelation 3:10)
H. Scriptural Baptism is by the single immersion of born again Christians only. It is the outward sign of an inward belief. It identifies the convert with the Lord Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.(Matthew 3:11)
I. That a Preacher/Deacon must be a man and have the PASTORAL QUALIFICATIONS listed (I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-16)
J. That marriage is to be between a Man and a Woman only no exceptions (Genesis 2:18, 24)
